Professional teeth cleaning in Bogenhausen
Regular professional cleaning helps prevent tooth decay and gum inflammation. We remove plaque and tartar that your toothbrush and floss cannot reach at home, and show you what to look out for in your daily care.
How the cleaning works
- We check your teeth and gums and answer your questions.
- We remove hard and soft deposits, including between the teeth and along the gum line.
- We polish your teeth so that new plaque sticks less easily.
- Finally, we apply fluoride and give you tips for your daily care.
How often is it useful?
For most adults, one or two appointments a year make sense. We will discuss what suits you after your check-up.
Costs
Professional teeth cleaning is a private service under the German fee scale for dentists (GOZ). Many statutory health insurers contribute to the cost, and private insurers usually reimburse it. We will tell you the cost before treatment.
For children and teenagers aged 6 to 17, statutory health insurance covers individual prophylaxis.
